Last Monday I had a lot of time learning the basic’s of touching up photo’s in my photography class. I love Photoshop, so every Thursday I’m going to practice touching up pictures and post them for you to see; starting with this cat. (Mine is the one one the right, just in case you couldn’t tell) Feel free to send me your own!
Valve’s second has announced their second secret, Steam Machines. Valve seems to be releasing a brand new line of hardware all running on their new SteamOS. If this interests you can learn more about the hardware and their Beta program here.
I’m a little late but the SteamOS (Steam Operating System) was Valve’s first announcement. The Steam platform will now be working with Linux to act as a Steam Platform on “any living room machine”. The OS will allow cross-platform play as well; so you can start playing, Portal 2 for example, in your living room and then pick right back up on it on your computer. It will also be a FREE download. For more information on the OS check this site. There are still 2 more announcements left on Valve’s website and the next one will be announced in about 4 hours. I’ll keep you posted
Valve’s Making a Push
It seems that valve is trying to expand out of just games and their steam platform. For those who don’t know, Valve said that they would be making 3 announcements this week. Here is a countdown until their next reveal.
Another photo I took in my photography class with a DSLR. Personally, I love this photo, I just wish my friend’s phone wasn’t covered in smudge marks.
This is the first “proper” photo I took with a DSLR camera. Anyways, even though I like my phone everyone seems to make fun of it; so why shouldn’t you? 😛
A Joshua Petrakos Story
One day, Little Red Riding Hood’s mother said to her, “Take this basket of goodies and cake to your grandmother’s cottage, but don’t stray off the path!” Promising not to, Little Red Riding Hood skipped off. On her way she met the Big Bad Wolf who asked, “Where are you going, little girl?” “To my grandma’s, Mr. Wolf. She‘s not feeling well and I‘m bringing her some goodies” she answered. “Why not bring her some flowers as well?” The wolf replied. “My mother told me not to go off the path”, she said. The wolf grinned, “flowers make anyone feel better! So what if you go a little bit off the path? It isn’t even that far”. “I guess you’re right” Little Red Riding Hood replied, “thanks Mr. Wolf!” As Little Red Riding Hood went to pick flowers for her grandmother the Wolf ran on all fours to her grandmother’s cottage and broke down the door. He then ate Grandma. The hungry wolf waited for Little Red Riding Hood so he could eat her too.
When Little Red Riding Hood reached the cottage, she entered and went to Grandma’s bedside and screamed “HELP! HELP! THE WOLF ATE MY GRANDMA!” The Wolf growled and pounced on her. Little Red Riding Hood screamed louder and the woodcutter in the forest came running to the cottage. He ran in and saw the Wolf, then he took out his axe and cut his head off. With the Wolf now beheaded on the cottage floor, Little Red Riding Hood forgot all about Grandma and thanked the Woodcutter. She then asked him if he wanted to stay and have some cake and other goodies. He said, “why that would be delightful”. And they both lived happily ever after. The End
Another college project. I had to create something that had to do with red riding hood. This was inspired by an artist on Deviant art by the name of Breathing2004, who did this. I thought it was really awesome so I decided to try something like it.
